Memory Lane

Miko was a little guy with a big personality. He came to us with a salty vocabulary which always made us laugh. He loved music, especially country music, and would dance and sing to Shania.

He'd bounce up and down and flap his wings when we did the "chicken dance" with him.

"Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand."

Mariah was a timid girl who thought that she was small enough to be a lap dog (she wasn't). She loved everyone she met and had a sloppy kiss to greet them. In the winter, she was proud to wear her bright yellow coat and in the spring when it warmed up a bit, wore her denim jacket with the red maple leaf on it. We will always think our little
"fashionista".... and smile : )

The "boss", Bailey made sure that all her pet pals behaved. She taught the new members of the pack, the rules of the yard. She was the guardian of all the small animals, protecting the ducklings and chicks, and moving the kittens to her bed when momma cat wasn't around.

Kicker's name came about because her extra large ears stood out like the kicker on a bike. She loved everyone, and everyone loved her. Her best friend was India, who sometimes slept on top of her. India would purr and lick the top of Kicker's head between her large ears, and they'd both be content.

Now that they've both crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we know that they are together and happy again.
