Our Services

We are proud to offer the most compassionate and professional cremation services available. Whether you are planning ahead or your needs are immediate, we are here to support and guide you through the difficult process of honouring and remembering your pet.

Private Cremation

There are many reasons to choose private cremation as a meaningful way to memorialize your pet. With private cremation, your pet’s cremated remains are returned to you as a lasting, cherished keepsake or to scatter in a special place. When you choose private cremation with Halo Pet Cremation, you have the assurance that you are receiving only your pet’s cremated remains. We are a member of PLPA (Pet Loss Professionals Alliance) and as such, we adhere to a strict code of ethics. We welcome you to meet us and visit our facilities.

Communal Cremation

Communal cremation is when your pet is cremated with other loved pets. In this case, the ashes cannot be returned to you. The ashes are spread on our peaceful acreage overlooking the beautiful Spallumcheen Valley, completing the circle of life.

Witnessed Cremation

For many people, witnessing the cremation process helps to give a sense of closure. Advance notice is necessary in order to make arrangements for this type of service. There may be an extra charge for this personalized service.

Final Farewell

To accommodate your needs during this difficult and emotional time, we offer you the opportunity to say your final farewell to your beloved pet at a private viewing and visitation. A quiet area is available at our facility to accommodate family and friends that would like to share a meaningful goodbye for your faithful companion. Families are welcome to stay during the cremation process, providing the peace-of-mind they may need during this time of grieving. To arrange for a viewing and visitation of your pet, contact Halo Pet Cremation and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.

Certificate of Cremation

Halo includes a certificate of Cremation (at no charge) with every private cremation. Cremations are performed by a trained cremation specialist, and we guarantee that only your pet's ashes are returned to you.

Published Obituaries

For an extra charge, Halo will design and publish, in the local Okanagan newspaper of your choice, an obituary which can include a photo of your pet, if desired.

Keepsake Pawprint

A pawprint impression of your pet can be taken before the cremation takes place. Please see our products page for price. Or a small tuft of hair can be clipped as a keepsake. There is no charge for this service.

Grief Literature

You will find many helpful brochures on this site. Please feel free to download and/or print any that you would like.

Pick up from your veterinarian's office and delivery of the ashes back to the same location is available. Home pick ups can also be arranged (an additional charge may apply). Please call us for this or any other special requests you may have. We are here to assist you and to ease any anxiety you may be feeling as you make these final decisions for your faithful friend.
